Where Do Pro's Play Poker Online

No comments :
I had several people asking me this the other day and it seemed like a valid question. Since there are so many pro's now I will only be focusing on the more popular ones.

Lets start off with FullTiltPoker. They boast to have the most pro players online, and this may be true with the likes of the following players:

Phil Ivey, Gus Hanson, Mike Matusow, Allen Cunningham, Erik Seidel, Andy Bloch, Howard Lederer, Phil Gordon, John Juanda, David Grey, Jennifer Harman, Erick Lindgren, and Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson just to name a few (there are many more). Quite an impressive list of players if you ask me.

However pro's are playing at many other sites as well. Kid poker Daniel Negreanu recently started his own site at FullContactPoker, and he can be found playing there from time to time.

Doyle Brunson also split from the rest of the pack and made his own site at Doylesroom.com, a site that he, Chip Reese and Todd Brunson can all be found playing at.

Other pro's like Phil Hellmuth, Barry Greenstein, Hoyt Corkins, Freddy Deeb and Greg Raymer have been known to play on PokerStars, but I am sure they play on more than just there. Annie Duke, Layne Flack, Antonio Esfandiari, Scotty Nguyen and even Phil Ivey (against FullTilt policy?) have been seen playing high limit tables at Ultimate Bet.

If you watch any amount of poker on TV you can usually see the pro's advertising their sites with some piece of apparel, whether its a hat or button down shirt.

By far however, the best bet if you are looking to get some action against a pro player would have to be Full Tilt. If however you are trying to avoid the pro's then you should most likely stick to the smaller sites that aren't endorsed (or owned) by pro players.
